Nissay

Working through a design consultancy in Japan that was responsible for liaison with the client, Chermayeff & Geismar designed a modern symbol and an accompanying logotype for this insurance giant. The identity conveys a sense of internationalism while retaining links to the tradition of Japanese heraldic symbols and calligraphy. Chermayeff & Geismar developed the elements of the design and the system for implementation, which was then undertaken in conjunction with the local consultancy.
